Roasting brings out the natural sweetness in fruits and vegetables. This recipe uses plums that are already sweet, so no sugar is added.

Wash and dry the plums.

You can serve these roasted plums as an appetizer or dessert. They make a nice addition to salads, too.

Cut them into halves or quarters.

To roast the plums, preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Place the plums cut side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake until soft, about 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before serving.
