Spaghetti Squash Australia Recipe

Spaghetti Squash is a versatile vegetable that tastes great in soups, casseroles, and even desserts. It’s a good source of fiber and vitamin C, and has less calories than pasta.

This recipe will show you how to make spaghetti squash with meatballs.
To make this recipe, first cut off the top of the spaghetti squash. Then, remove the seeds and stringy fibers inside. Next, slice the squash into half moons. Finally, place the squash halves face down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 175 degrees C for 45 minutes.

Remove the squash from the oven and let cool slightly before removing the skin. Now, fill each squash half with 1/4 cup of ground beef, 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning, 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs, and 1 egg. Place the filled squash back in the oven and bake for another 15 minutes. Serve warm.

Ingredients
This recipe uses ingredients that are readily available and inexpensive. You can use any type of meat you’d like, such as chicken, turkey, pork, or even shrimp. If you prefer vegetarian options, try using tofu instead of ground beef.

Step by Step Instructions

To make spaghetti squash, first cut off the top and bottom of the squash. Then cut the squash lengthwise into quarters. Remove the seeds and strings with a spoon. Cut each quarter crosswise into half-inch slices. Place the slices in a microwave safe dish and cook them at full power for 5 minutes. Turn the slices over and continue cooking until tender, another 3 to 4 minutes. Serve immediately.

Here’s how to make one!
You can use any type of pasta sauce you’d like. I used a simple marinara sauce because I wanted something quick and easy. If you prefer a more complex flavor, try using a pesto sauce.

Preheat oven to 204 degrees Fahrenheit.
Wash the spaghetti squash thoroughly under cold running water. Cut off both ends and remove the seeds. Place the squash cut side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake until tender when pierced with a fork, about 45 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before cutting into 1/2 inch slices.
