What are their health benefits?
Salmonberries are high in antioxidants, fiber, vitamin C, potassium, magnesium, copper, manganese, phosphorus, iron, zinc, and selenium. These nutrients help protect against cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and other illnesses. In addition, salmonberries are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for brain development and healthy vision.

Are they safe to eat?
Salmonberries are safe to eat when harvested at the right stage of ripeness. They should not be eaten raw because they contain cyanide. However, cooked, dried, frozen, canned, juiced, or made into jams and jellies.
