Nibs Cocao Recipe

Nibs cocao are tiny bits of chocolate that are often used in baking. They come in many different flavors, and are available at most grocery stores.

You will need:
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a medium saucepan, combine the cocoa powder, sugar, and water. Stir until the sugar has dissolved. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Once boiling, remove the pan from heat and stir in the vanilla. Pour the mixture into an airtight container and let cool completely before using.

If you want to make your own nibs cocoa powder, you’ll first need to grind up some good quality dark chocolate. This can be done by placing the chocolate in a food processor and processing until it’s finely chopped. Then place the chocolate in a large bowl and add the cocoa powder. Using a wooden spoon, mix together thoroughly.

Once you’ve mixed the ingredients together, pour them out onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Spread the mixture evenly across the pan using a spatula. Place the pan in the freezer for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, remove the pan from the freezer and use a sharp knife to cut the mixture into small squares. You should end up with approximately 1/2 cup of nibs cocoa powder. Store the nibs cocoa powder in an airtight container in a cool dry place.

A blender will also work, but a food processor has more power and is easier to clean. Second, you’ll need a scale. This will help ensure that you measure the exact amount of cocoa butter needed. Once you’ve got everything ready, start grinding the cocoa beans. You’ll want to grind them until they become a fine powder. Then add the cocoa butter and mix well.
