Roasting vegetables brings out their natural sweetness and makes them tender and flavorful. This recipe for roasted asparagus will show you how easy it is to cook this vegetable at home.

Rinse asparagus and pat dry with paper towels.

Preheat oven to 204 degrees C. Place asparagus on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle olive oil over asparagus and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss to coat. Bake until crisp-tender, about 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
