“Sonoma” means “good air” in Spanish. It was named after the Sonoma Valley, which is located in Northern California.

What makes them unique?
Sonoma Bread are 100% whole grain flour, which gives their bread a nutty flavor. They also use a special starter called “Sourdough Starter #1”. This starter has been bakeries since 1885. Originally developed by a French baker named Louis Pasteur. He discovered that bacteria were responsible for making bread rise. His discovery led to the development of modern baking methods.
