Squash Spaghetti

Squash spaghetti is an easy way to eat squash without having to peel it first. Also a great way to enjoy squash in different ways. It’s simple to prepare and tastes great.

Cut off the ends of the squash.
Wash the squash with cold water and then slice it into spaghetti shapes. You can use any kind of squash you like. I used acorn squash because it was what I had available.

Slice the squash into 1/2 inch thick slices.
Then cut each slice into 3 pieces lengthwise.

Boil the squash until tender.
Once cooked, drain the water out of the squash slices.

Drain the squash and let cool.
Place the squash slices into a large bowl. Add 1/2 cup of spaghetti sauce (or any other flavor) and mix well.

Add butter or olive oil to the squash and mix together.
Serve with Parmesan cheese and enjoy!
